Clyde Phillips was the original showrunner and executive producer on Showtime’s hit series Dexter. He then went on to executive produce and showrun Showtime’s Nurse Jackie. He’s won a Peabody Award and the AFI award for outstanding series – and has been nominated for an Emmy three times, as well as the Golden Globe, the PGA award, and the Writer’s Guild Award – among many others. Phillips also created Parker Lewis Can’t Lose, Suddenly Susan, and Get Real starring Anne Hathaway and Jesse Eisenberg. Recently, Phillips was the showrunner and executive producer on Dexter: New Blood. He then went on to create, executive produce and showrun Dexter: Original Sin. He’s currently shooting Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 for Paramount + with Showtime. A national bestselling mystery novelist, Phillips’s fourth book, ‘Unthinkable’, rose to Number One on Amazon’s ‘Police Procedural’ list. He lives in New York City and Martha’s Vineyard with his wife, Jane. They have one daughter.
