Angus Wall is a filmmaker and founder of MakeMake, an interdisciplinary studio dedicated to re-enchantment based in LA and NY. Angus has won two Academy Awards, a BAFTA, Five Emmys and several Clios for his work. He just finished Being Eddie, a documentary about Eddie Murphy that he directed for Netflix. Angus has directed the title sequences for Game of Thrones, Carnivàle, and The Morning Show, along with having edited The Social Network and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, along with several other films such as Zodiac and Panic Room. He has produced or executive produced many films and series, including The Greatest Night In Pop, Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones, 13th, Icarus, Winter on Fire, and Neymar: The Perfect Chaos. He also holds the patent for “digital film”, the underlying workflow for all digitally captured productions, which is based on his pioneering technical work done for Zodiac. Angus has collaborated with just about every major brand, studio, and top filmmaker working today. He is also a former Maine Guide and loves the outdoors.

I came up editing commercials in the ad world of New York City, and that experience taught me how to get to the heart of the story efficiently and emotionally, and doing so through visually dynamic and compelling footage.

Over time, I found myself drawn more and more towards long-form documentary work, which I find so deeply satisfying. Working with the raw material captured from life provides so many opportunities to create unexpected connections that resonate with authenticity and magic.

I am based in Los Angeles, and my current work home is with the good people at MakeMake Entertainment. Two time ACE Eddie Award winner for "Five Came Back" and "Jane"
